Ahhhh, delectable seduction… is so masterfully portrayed by your writing. It leads one to believe you have spent decades masterfully perfecting it in real life.

Love this poem❤️

That is unmistakable in your words. You dear Gloria know how to use all that is available to you, if have no doubt there.

I began this dance sixty years ago—call it dating if you like, but I prefer to think of it as an art, a conversation of glances and pauses, of knowing when to linger and when to leave them wanting. By now, I’d like to think I have the form perfected, though the best artists always leave room for a little ... improvisation.

It is most definitely an art form! And man never have both brain and patience for it to develop into art. That is one thing, they’ll never know about. And no artist has ever stopped learning altogether. We are artists because we are ever so curious, aren’t we?

Yes. Most definitely, yes.

As you know I don’t know these characters that well yet, I’m saving them, but this is a highly romantic poem and I love it. Side note: I’m not sure if this is a poet technique but it’s something that feels unique to you, I love how you emphasize words throughout. I read the poem twice. First with all the words, then with just the bold words. You manage to summon the same feelings in both cases. Just perfection!

Thank you for reading the poem. It’s so rewarding to write these characters to life.

Very nice poem. I remember reading it last week, I think, and then I lost it. I am not sure if I did or read another one. Not sure who is experiencing the surrender.

You might have read one similar to this one. This is a new one today. Are you reading my serialized story? If not, do. Vivian is the speaker in this poem. She is talking to Riley.

You do not have to read them. I do struggle.

Thank you, I really needed that this morning. My heart is heavy with the weight of a dictator in the White House and if he continues I will probably lose my house.

Daniel, you have a safe place here. My heart is aching as well and I am afraid for all of us. Your fear over your home is real and I my heart aches for you -- for all of us who are older and expected support from our government which is being erased daily.

Ahhhhh… I suspect you’re only beginning.

You could sell a book of these yummy love poems. So many would buy them.

And, might you consider teaching men of a certain age how to love an outrageous woman?

Gloria, this poem builds tension with precision. Every line pulls like silk drawn through steady hands, controlled yet inescapable. The rhythm flows effortlessly, carrying a weight that lingers. That last word—please—lands like gravity, inevitable and undeniable. This isn’t just poetry; it’s command wrapped in elegance. Stunning work
