A riddle
From Vegas lights to London's charm,
I've crossed the seas without alarm.
Now in a place where wool once thrived,
And "Gibbet Law" was once contrived.
Not journey's end, but just a pause,
In Yorkshire's hills, where history draws.
My name recalls a purse held tight,
But I'm just one stop in British sights.
What town am I, this waypoint fair,
As two weeks' adventure fills the air?
TIL
