'The trick is to make them believe they're watching their own triumph While the audience recognizes a call to action. ' This happened at the White House Governor's Ball, Feb 24. 2025- The U. S. Army Chior performed a song from the Les Miserables, ' Do you hear the people's sing?'
And my favorite was the Past & present intelligence to outwit that malific nazi provacutuer Musk It is exactly what is needed.
First, I did not expect a new chapter so soon—imagine my happiness this morning when I found it right along with my coffee. Thank you again!
Being German sometimes requires me to catch up with your messaging, so I went deeper. I read through the history of Lexington and Concord—of course, a perfect stage for this premiere. I refreshed my memory on Washington crossing the Delaware, what that entailed, how a single act of boldness shifted the course of history.
And then it clicked—digital resistance mirrors Washington’s crossing: activists, journalists, and everyday users navigating censorship and firewalls like soldiers crossing enemy lines. Just as the Hessians underestimated the attack, governments and corporations often overlook the power of encryption and digital activism. Information is the modern battlefield, where taking risks—whether bypassing restrictions or exposing truth—can shift the momentum in the fight for digital freedom.
I familiarized myself with *The Crucible*, what a reference. Its structure, its tension, its ability to remain timeless—truth vs. propaganda, power vs. morality, and fear-driven persecution. There’s so much room for reinterpretation here, and you wove it in masterfully. And yes, I dove into subversive theater—how it challenges authority while maintaining the facade of compliance. I know this strategy well. It’s how I survived the last fifty years. And then you layer in Ionesco’s *Theater of the Absurd*—brilliant. How dismantled logic exposes the emptiness of authoritarian rhetoric. The way you weave these together—I can see it unfolding, each piece sharpening the edge of the next.
Gloria, this is staggering. Every layer of this chapter deepens the structure, the stakes, the intelligence behind the play. This isn’t just a performance—it’s a quantum event. The way you thread history into strategy, art into code, theater into resistance—it’s breathtaking.
The brilliance isn’t just in the ideas, though they are abundant. It’s in the execution. The rhythm, the character work, the precision. I can already hear the murmurs of people analyzing every frame, every line, every flicker of light. The flickering blackout? A gift. And you used it as one.
Eliza’s arrival, her coded lighting—deliciously ambiguous. Vivian, a master of layered war games. Riley, with a mind that moves faster than the scripts she’s writing. The compact mirror—history made tangible, resistance in the palm of a hand. And then—Julian Reeves? Quantum computing enters the stage, quite literally. This isn’t just subterfuge. This is revolution through narrative.
And that last moment—preparing for darkness, timing the real work to failure points in the system? This is strategic genius. You are writing a world into being. I don’t just see this as a bestseller. I see this being *studied.*
And the two new players—perfectly timed. They don’t just add to the intrigue; they accelerate the transformation. The resistance is no longer just an idea or an artistic metaphor—it’s forming, shifting, expanding into something real. Maybe even something that might, just might, be waking up in the real world too.
Gloria, you have no idea how deeply your creativity, your writing, and your words are reaching me. Right now, it feels like parts of you have a secret, encrypted satellite connection straight into my being.
This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced something like this. I had—and still have—this kind of connection with my systemic coach. You both, without intention or effort, have become role models for me. Maybe it’s a kind of mentorship, or maybe it’s something beyond definition—and maybe it doesn’t need one. It simply is.
What I do know is this—I am the one indebted to you.
Odd side note here: Reading this , about the unexpected black out reminded me of one of the most profound historians of science I have ever come across: James Burke. He had the t.v. series (1978) called ' Connections " & the philosophical sequel ' The Day the Universe Changed '( 1985). James Burke has been called one of the most intriguing minds in the Western World. As a avid amateur Historian, Mr Burke altered my way of looking at history no matter when or past , present or future.
This story is like a taproot into the soul of RESISTANCE with all the intelligence and heart of the ages bringing the past lessons learned into what we can do now, what we have to do now and you do so skillfully and artfully. I love these women.
Just a tiny note to add…. I tried to restack, and quote, and fascinatingly enough my fingers must’ve hit the wrong keys, because the incorrect link was attaching, and the quote wouldn’t copy at all….. I will go back to see if my editing the note over and over actually “took”.
This is such a great novel Gloria, it must be read by all. Your character development is rich.
1000☆s once again!
Reading this story , made me smile.

Many thanks.
Yes! Exactly that! The Army Choir was magnificent.
Enthralling. The blackout was of particular interest. At work I’ve been in areas where the absence of light was so dark it was tangible.
Anticipating where you lead us in your next chapter.
Yes, I’m hooked. lol
I have to admit, I’m hooked, too! Thanks for reading my story ❣️
Ok, break is over, back to the keyboard…please Lol
I’m working on it! 🙂

Lillian, thank you. I’m going to find out all about him.
This story is like a taproot into the soul of RESISTANCE with all the intelligence and heart of the ages bringing the past lessons learned into what we can do now, what we have to do now and you do so skillfully and artfully. I love these women.
I am in love with both of them myself! Thrilled you are enjoying the story.
I do SO hope that you are intending to publish this story Gloria. I want to literally dive into their world and play with them.
Eliza is a fascinating new character❣️
She is … complicated.
I had that same problem yesterday with quotes.
Computer glitches are inevitable at times.🧐
Subtle and brilliant. Can you put a link at the end to the previous stories so new readers can catch up, Gloria?
Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll add them today.
